Refund Policy

Effective Date: January 1st, 2026

This Refund Policy applies to all services provided by MatjarX (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), operated under MatjarX, a sole proprietorship based in Karachi, Pakistan.

By purchasing any service from MatjarX, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. General Policy Overview

MatjarX provides digital services including website development, SEO, maintenance, and marketing services. Due to the nature of digital work, resource allocation, and time investment, our refund policy is structured to ensure fairness for both the client and the company.

Refunds are not guaranteed and are only issued under specific conditions outlined below.

2. Setup Fees (One-Time Payments)

• Setup fees are non-refundable once work has started.
• Clients may request a refund within 24 hours of payment only if the project has not significantly started or resources have not been allocated.
• If work has already begun (design, development, planning, or resource allocation), the setup fee becomes non-refundable.

3. Custom Projects Refunds

For custom or tailored projects:

• Refunds may be considered only in specific cases where the client is not satisfied with the delivered work.
• In such cases, MatjarX will deduct:
  • Service and operational costs
  • Time invested
  • Purchased assets (plugins, themes, tools, hosting, etc.)
• Any remaining eligible amount (if applicable) will be refunded.
• Refund processing time may take up to 30 business days.
• Upon approval of refund, MatjarX may deliver project files in their current completed state.

4. Approved Work Policy

Any work that has been:

• Approved verbally, or
• Approved in writing (email, WhatsApp, message confirmation)

is considered final and is non-refundable under all circumstances.

5. Monthly Subscription Services

All monthly plans under MatjarX services are non-refundable once the billing cycle has started.

This includes:

• Website maintenance plans
• SEO services
• Social media management
• Hosting and support services

Clients may cancel subscriptions with proper notice (see Section 7).

6. Non-Refundable Services

The following are strictly non-refundable:

• Domain purchases
• Hosting fees (if purchased or managed on behalf of client)
• Third-party software or plugin costs
• Completed and approved milestones
• SEO work already performed
• Social media content already delivered or posted

7. Cancellation and Refund Eligibility

Clients may cancel services at any time; however:

• A 30-day written notice is required before cancellation.
• Services will remain active until the end of the notice period.
• No refunds will be issued for the remaining duration of an active billing cycle.

If a client is dissatisfied, they may request cancellation, and MatjarX will assist in:

• Delivering project files
• Providing migration support (if applicable)

8. Project Suspension and Non-Payment

If a client fails to make payment:

• MatjarX will issue reminders via WhatsApp, email, and phone.
• Services may be suspended after the grace period.
• Projects may be taken offline after 3 months of non-payment.
• Data may be permanently deleted after 1 year of inactivity or non-payment.

To restore a suspended project, clients may be required to pay applicable reactivation fees and updated service charges.

9. Refund Processing Time

If a refund is approved:

• Processing time may take up to 30 business days
• Refunds will be issued via bank transfer only
• Any applicable deductions will be clearly communicated before processing

10. Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes:

• Clients are encouraged to contact MatjarX first for resolution
• We aim to resolve issues through communication, revisions, or adjustments before considering refunds
• Legal jurisdiction will fall under Karachi, Pakistan
